When we go on holiday, or a longer travelling trip, it can become tempting to try and fit everything in. It’s understandable – you’re in a new place, you want to make the most of it, and you want to feel justified in the money you are spending on the holiday. However, this isn’t always the best approach.
When you are looking at activities, it is best to think about the things that really jump out at you. Consider the activities that will feel really valuable to you, and that you will look back on and be really grateful you chose. Prioritise these and get popular trips booked up in advance so you know you are on them.
If you have time and energy left, book more activities. If you want to relax, then do! Part of being in a new place is enjoying its ambience, culture and architecture, so always take time out to do this.
